The New Divi 5 Interface Review

Divi 5 has released a new interface. Don't worry about being caught off guard by the new interface—it functions exactly as always. Everything will seem extremely familiar. Nothing about what you can accomplish with Divi has changed, but we believe that you will love doing what you do even more with a speedier and less complicated interface.

New Divi 5 Interface Improved Features

There are many improvements on the Divi 5 interface that will go a long way to help improve the quality of your design, some of which we will look at in this section;

1. Increase in Speed

The blazing speed of Divi 5 will be your first impression. It can handle very large pages like never before, and there is never any lag when you hover, click, edit, and rearrange items.

Additionally, Divi eliminated all animations because we don't want anything to impede your speed.

2. Better Spacing

To provide greater breathing room for your concepts, Divi 5 shrunk the interface's footprint. Multiple smaller-sized panels can be docked to the side of the browser without interfering with your viewing experience or obstructing it.

My layers panel is docked to the left and my settings panel is docked to the right in the example above. As the page is being navigated upon, the options panel automatically fills up, and when changes are made, you get immediate feedback.

3. Easy Navigation

It's now easier than ever to navigate the page thanks to new breadcrumbs in each settings panel, a smaller layers panel that you can always leave open, and click-mode as the default interaction mode. It won't be difficult for you to locate or select anything to change.

4. Fully Customizable Interface

You have a lot more flexibility over the builder's layout with Divi 5. Panels can be combined into tabbed windows, docked, and undocked. You also have the option to have Divi 4's floating settings panel and all of your windows closed.
