But the developer of Sushi WordPress theme has gone in the opposite direction. They have tried to give a taste of innovation by keeping the design of the old school websites.

In the sushi themes admin panel, there is a Buddha Builder that has a system of backend editing without any kind of coding knowledge. The theme's mega menu has the facility to add images that will make a list exploring more enjoyable. The theme has two types of viewing sections - Boxed and Wide. There are various types of templates in 5 parts like Shop, Portfolio, Blog Page, which will make your website more engaging. And five custom widgets will facilitate daily users to use the site.

Speed Test Review

In this age of speed, people don't stop the elevator for another person, and waiting for the website to load is nothing. Normally we take 5 seconds loading speed as the ideal, so it can be said that if a website takes longer to load, then there is no place for it among the best websites. This is because one of the core features of Google web search rankings is - The lower the loading speed of the website, the better the chances of that website being the best.

Sushi did a fantastic job on full page loading time. We checked the loading speed on GTmetrix, and this theme took 3.9 seconds to load its landing page. The page weight is 2.61MB, and the total score is 90 out of 100. We still lack some number but no need to worry about that. To get 100% loading speed, we have to minimize the amount of JavaScript that needed to render the page. Also, we have some unscaled image on this demo that is holding us back from getting the full mark.

About the photos, you have to use your own scaled photos cause these demo photos don't come with the theme pack as they are not copyright free. But you can quickly solve the Js issue with a plugin like the WP Super Cache plugin.

SEO Review

How do we find any information on the Internet? Almost all of the websites in Google search results are optimized for searching, but the SEO of the top-ranked websites is very developed. So if you also want to see your site in the category of the best, then SEO is a must thing.

We checked the SEO of the Sushi WordPress theme at SEO Site Checkup, and the results are entirely satisfactory. The theme got 73 out of 100, which is quite respectable. However, there are many opportunities for improvement. Heading tags and image Alt tags are missing, there are no SEO friendly URL's, and the theme uses inline CSS, which are prominent reasons for low SEO scores. You can quickly solve all the problems related to SEO through the Yoast SEO plugin.

Despite being in the ThemeForest for a long time, the Sushi theme has not sold much. In the comments section, we saw that the last comment came eight months ago. However, we did not see any shortcomings from the authors. They are trying to answer everyone's questions and are providing all kinds of assistance, including refunding.

No page builder was provided with the Sushi theme because the developers quoted - "Sushi Theme comes with its Shortcode builder, so we don't have recommendations for other page builder plugins." However, you can use any third-party plugin if you want. There is a backend designer called Buddha Builder through which you can change the font, color, design, layout of any page, SEO, responsiveness, widget control, branding, etc without coding knowledge.

Two premium sliders like Slider Revolution and Layer Slider are provided with the theme. The theme bundle comes with some essential plugins, including Contact Form 7, Event Calendar, Mail Chimp. The Sushi WordPress theme is WooCommerce, and WPML supported. There is also a responsive Google Map plugin that comes with the item.
