Rifat Divi Tutorials May 11, 2022

This weekly Divi layout collection is created by our top-tier designers here at Elegant Themes for our users. It is possible to access all of the Divi Library's predefined layout packs through the Visual Builder right now.

In this post, we'll show you how to store your favorite layout packs and transfer them to your Divi Cloud. This tutorial is meant to assist you in coming one step closer to creating a library that you can use on all of your websites.

Why should you use Divi Cloud?

For Elegant Theme subscribers, the Divi Cloud is a new feature that lets you save all of your favorite Divi Builder Elements in one place (aka, the Divi Cloud). Your API Key allows you to access the saved elements on every Divi website you create. That means you can now access your favorite saved library items more quickly and easily than ever before without having to manually import and export them between sites.

Ways To Migrate Divi Layout Packs To Divi Cloud

There are three distinct ways to migrate Divi layout packs to the Divi cloud. They are mentioned below.

Use The Heart Icon To Save Layout Packs

We think this method is better than the other ones for a few reasons. The first thing we do is make sure our layout packs are always up to date with the new Divi features. Favoriting them this way ensures that you always have access to a dynamic version of your favorite layout packs. How do you save a static version? The methods below do this. You're saving a copy of that layout pack that won't be updated for a long time, like when you do this. Using this feature in the Divi Library makes sure that your layout packs are always up to date. It doesn't matter which side you're signed in to, your favorite things will be there as well!

To-Do so -

  • Browse to any page and turn on the Visual Builder tool.
  • The purple "+" icon on the Divi toolbar is at the bottom of the page. Click it to add more tools. This brings up the Divi Library, which is where you can find things.
  • When you hover over a layout pack you'd like to favorite, a new heart icon appears; click it to add the layout pack to your favorites.
  • In the top right corner of the screen, there is now a drop-down menu that lets you sort layout packs by your favorites, new to old layout packs, old to new layout packs, and names.
  • If you want to eliminate a layout pack from your favorites, click the heart icon.

Pre-Save A Design And Export To Cloud

This is not a good idea because future updates to the layout pack you download will not automatically be added to your own Divi Cloud. In Divi, you can add items to your Cloud, but you can also Favorite them in the Divi Library instead. This way, any layout packs that you use are always up to date.

Read the instructions below if you'd like to add a premade layout pack to your Cloud. You already have access to premade layout packs when you're working on any Divi site.

  • Make sure the Visual Builder can load the Divi Library on any page on your website.
  • A lot of premade layout packs live on the screen that you'll see when you start.
  • Find the layout pack you want and click on it. Then, click "Use This Layout" to load that layout into your page.
  • On the Divi toolbar, at the bottom of the page, click the downward arrow icon. Then, click "Save to Cloud" on the toolbar. When you do this, the Add To Library window comes up with the following options:
  • Layout Name: This is the name of the page layout.
  • You can turn the Save To Divi Cloud switch on if you want to save this page layout to the Divi Cloud.
  • Add to Categories – Check the box next to the category you want to add to this layout or type in a new category in the input field.
  • Choose from a list of existing tags or type in a new one in the second field.

Save Specific Sections Of Your Layout

You can use this method if you like some parts of layout packs, but not the whole thing. When you save things to your Divi Cloud, you can use them on any website you're building that has been logged in and authenticated with your API Key. This makes building websites faster and easier than ever before.

  • Make sure the Visual Builder can load the Divi Library on any page on your site.
  • A lot of premade layout packs live on the screen that you'll see when you start.
  • Find the layout pack you want and click on it. Then, click "Use This Layout" to put that layout on your page.
  • On the Divi toolbar, at the bottom of the page, click the downward arrow icon. Then, click "Save to Cloud" on the toolbar. When you do this, the Add To Library window comes up with the following options:
  • In this field, write the name of the section, row, or module you want to save, then click Save.
  • You can turn the Save To Divi Cloud switch on if you want to save this page layout to the Divi Cloud.
  • In order to save the item as a worldwide thing, turn this option to "on," then press "Save." This is a note: If you choose "Save to Divi Cloud," you can't save this item to be used by all users. You can't save this item to the cloud if you save it as an item that everyone can see.
  • Add to Categories: Check the box next to the category you want to add the item to or type in a new category name in the input field.
  • Choose from a list of existing tags or type in a new one in the second field to add a tag.

Ending Thoughts

In the future, you won't have to look for your favorite layout packs in the library. Save your favorite layout packs to the Divi Cloud so you can find and load them with just a few clicks. We have made various tutorials on Divi, please do check them out.
